House-building at new low
The number of new homes being built in England has slumped by a third during the past quarter to reach a record low.
About 22,200 new properties were started in July to September, 33% fewer than during the previous quarter, Government figures show.
It is the lowest level recorded by the Department of Communities and Local Government since it began collecting data in 1980.
